Job Description

Summary:
The Quality Control Site Manager is responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations meet project specifications, applicable codes, safety standards, and client quality requirements. This role oversees on-site quality processes for electrical work—including power, lighting, grounding, low-voltage, and special systems—while coordinating with project teams, inspectors, and clients to deliver compliant, defect-free installations. Material handlers relocate products and raw materials, such as timber or iron, within a facility using forklifts or pallet jacks. They also may handle recordkeeping responsibilities related to inventory, product locations or labeling to help the company remain organized.
Key Responsibilities Common duties include:
  • Accepting and inspecting products, materials and other items delivered to the business
  • Placing received items in the warehouse, storage spaces and other designated locations for safe storage
  • Referring to ID tags or labels to locate items
  • Completing documentation, including work and shipping orders
  • Performing inventory control activities, such as regular counts and order fulfillment
  • Packaging, crating and loading finished products for shipping
  • Resolving conflicts in item locations, damaged goods or missing packages
  • Promote continuous improvement and lessons learned across projects. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • First-pass inspection acceptance rate.
  • Number and severity of quality-related NCRs.
  • Rework hours/costs related to electrical installation quality.
  • Inspection schedule adherence.
  • Punch list item count and closure time.
  • Compliance with QA/QC documentation requirements.
  • Successful electrical system commissioning without delays.
  • Client and AHJ satisfaction ratings.

  • Journeyman or Master Electrician background strongly preferred.
  • 7-15+ years of electrical construction experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC, local codes, and electrical testing standards.
  • Experience with commercial or industrial electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams, schematics, and specifications.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and coordination skills.
  • Familiarity with commissioning processes and quality management systems.

Required:
  • Journeyman Electrician
  • OSHA 30
  • NFPA 70E
  • NICET II-III
  • CQT or CQI Preferred:
  • Master Electrician
  • NICET III-IV
  • Certified Quality Inspector (ASQ)
  • OSHA 30 (Minimum)
  • NFPA 70E
  • ISO 9001 Auditor
  • First Aid / CPR / AED
  • Commissioning Authority (CxA) or Electrical Commissioning Training
  • Materials manager
