Job Description

Job Title:
Quality Manager Job Description The Quality Manager is responsible for maintaining the Quality Management System and ensuring compliance with all customer and regulatory requirements. This role involves the development, implementation, and continual improvement of quality systems and procedures supporting manufacturing operations, quality and supplier management, documentation, training, and auditing. Responsibilities Maintain Quality Management System in compliance with
ISO9001 / AS9100
standards. Act as the focal point for customer audits, including corrective actions. Perform internal audits and assign corrective actions. Participate in customer-required PPAPs, PFMEAs, and process flow charts. Support Engineering Investigation Reports. Conduct quality department training as necessary. Maintain stamp control process and approved supplier list. Track and manage supplier audit programs and supplier non-conformances. Manage various quality projects as necessary. Supervise quality control operations to achieve production, cost of quality, and safety objectives. Ensure quality standards for raw material, work in process, outside processing, and finished products. Provide work direction for inspection staff. Process non-conforming material reports (NCMRs) to suppliers. Support contract review for Q-Clauses as required. Support continuous improvement of department operations and processes. Perform other related duties as required and assigned. Essential Skills Quality engineering expertise in aerospace. Proficiency in audit, quality management, and assurance. Experience with
AS9100, ISO9001
standards. Root cause analysis and supplier quality management. Proficiency in PPAP and quality control processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a field related to Quality Control or equivalent. 3+ years of aerospace quality experience; 2+ years in leadership roles. Strong command of basic
SPC, MSA, RCCA.
Working knowledge of customer and regulatory requirements, including
AS9100, ISO9001.
Knowledge of FAR part 21 and FAR-145 is a plus. Ability to perform PFMEA and Production Flowcharts. Lean knowledge and/or Six Sigma certification. Experience in report writing and customer communication. Experience in aircraft component testing, teardown, and analysis preferred. Work Environment The work environment includes a team of 10 inspectors and 1 calibration technician. The company operates one shift from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. This is a mid-sized company offering a family-owned atmosphere, providing a good opportunity to work on the leadership team. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Burbank, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $135000.00/yr. health, dental, vision, 401K Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Burbank,CA.
