Job Description
Hill View Packing - Quality Assurance Supervisor A well-established, privately held fruit & beverage processing manufacturer is seeking a full time Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our management team at our processing plant located in general area of Newman, CA. To be considered for this position, the candidate must have at least 3 years as a supervisory position and 5 years in the food industry. The candidate must have a minimum bachelor degree in the food science or related field. Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus.
- Must have knowledge of fruit and beverage processing.
- Must have experience in preparedness, hosting, and completion of audits for i.e., IFS, BRC, USDA, DFA, and any Federal or regulatory agency.
- Train personnel in HACCP, GMP's, Sanitation, Pest Control, Recall Protocols, Equipment Calibration and Perform Self Audits.
- Must be able to review all lab results and take appropriate action and communicate effectively to all appropriate departments.
- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance reports; implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Proficient in quality management software and Microsoft office program.
