- discounts on shopping, travel & more Proven continued business growth for future opportunities What You'll Do Support the FSQ Manager by providing day-to-day guidance and coordination to FSQ Lab Technicians while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, food safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Oversee FSQ Lab operations supporting the Ingredients Business Unit. Lead and support FSQ Lab Technicians through onboarding, training, coaching, and ongoing development. Coordinate monitoring, verification, and validation activities associated with HACCP plans and prerequisite programs to ensure the effectiveness of the Food Safety Management System within laboratory operations. Ensure testing records are accurate, complete, maintained, and readily accessible. Manage inventory control and procurement of laboratory supplies and materials. Coordinate maintenance, calibration, validation, and method development activities for laboratory equipment, ensuring timely execution and accurate documentation. Drive compliance with GMPs, food safety programs, and quality procedures within laboratory operations. Assist with record review of Ingredients Business Unit production paperwork. Support investigations, root cause analyses, and CAPA activities related to process deviations, product holds, customer complaints, and food safety or quality concerns. Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of standard operating procedures, work instructions, and training materials. Monitor, analyze, and communicate laboratory performance metrics and KPIs to support continuous improvement initiatives. Support and participate in customer, regulatory, and third-party audits, including the implementation and follow-up of corrective actions. Ensures lab work areas are kept clean by established Good Laboratory Practices. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
What You'll Need High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred 1 year of leadership experience in food or beverage manufacturing or demonstrated leadership experience in prior roles. 5 years of experience in food or beverage manufacturing, preferably across Quality, Food Safety, and Production functions. Knowledge of food or beverage testing and laboratory operations. Experience supporting Quality, Food Safety, HACCP, and GMP programs and systems.
