Job Overview:
MX Construction Inc. is actively seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Quality Control Manager (QCM) to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities on federal construction projects. This role is ideal for a proven professional with expertise in federal contract requirements, quality management systems, inspections, documentation, and compliance with project specifications. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and government representatives to ensure all work meets contractual quality standards and is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved plans. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and implement the project Quality Control Plan (QCP) in accordance with contract requirements and federal standards Conduct and document preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections to verify compliance with project specifications and quality requirements Coordinate with project management, subcontractors, and government representatives to ensure all work meets contractual quality standards Review construction documents, submittals, RFIs, material certifications, and testing reports for compliance with project requirements Maintain the Quality Control System Management (QCS) or other required federal quality management platforms and documentation systems Track, document, and resolve quality deficiencies, non-conformance issues, and corrective actions in a timely manner Ensure compliance with contract documents, approved submittals, plans, specifications, and applicable codes throughout all phases of construction Coordinate and oversee third-party testing, inspections, and commissioning activities as required by the contract Maintain thorough quality control documentation including inspection reports, testing logs, deficiency logs, meeting minutes, and turnover records Conduct quality control meetings and communicate professionally with clients, inspectors, contracting officers, and project stakeholders Support project safety objectives by ensuring quality-related work activities comply with OSHA and

requirements Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and project management software to prepare reports, track deficiencies, manage documentation, and communicate project status Travel across California as required for project assignments
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years' experience as a QCM or Superintendent in construction Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, methods, and best practices USACE Construction Quality Control Certificate Familiarity with OSHA and

safety regulations Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform well under pressure Clean driving record and valid driver's license A Real ID & Ability to pass federal background checks Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
Physical Requirements:
This role requires consistent physical activity in various field settings, including: Standing, walking, and navigating uneven terrain for extended periods Climbing stairs or accessing elevated areas on job sites Lifting and moving up to 75 lbs Operating standard office and construction technology (computer, phone, tablet) Stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling as needed Working in varying weather conditions Reasonable accommodations will be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.
