Technical Lead & Quality Expert

Technical Lead & Quality Expert (Contract) We are seeking a Technical Lead & Quality Expert (TLQE) on a contract basis to lead and govern high‑impact data collection projects supporting machine learning model development (speech, vision, motion, and gesture‑based studies). This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who can quickly take ownership, drive quality standards, and partner effectively with clients and cross‑functional teams. Scope of Responsibilities Own end‑to‑end delivery and quality outcomes for assigned data collection projects Lead day‑to‑day project execution, team coordination, and quality governance Ensure compliance with collection protocols, policies, and client expectations Conduct quality audits, review outputs, and drive corrective actions Manage stakeholder and client communications, ensuring timely issue resolution Proactively identify risks, resolve blockers, and support process improvements Mentor and guide project associates to meet quality, productivity, and compliance goals Required Experience & Skills 6-8+ years of experience in data operations, quality management, or project/program leadership Proven ability to lead teams and deliver outcomes in fast‑paced, execution‑driven environments Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a quality-first mindset Comfort working in command-line / technical environments Strong proficiency with Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides Excellent communication skills with experience interacting with clients and senior stakeholders Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver within defined timelines Contract Details Contract role with clear delivery ownership and performance expectations Opportunity to work on cutting-edge ML data initiatives Fast onboarding with immediate impact
