As the Director of Quality, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products or services to our customers. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will lead the Quality Engineering function and work closely with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain robust quality assurance processes throughout the product life cycle.Responsibilities:
Quality Strategy Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy aligned with organizational goals Define and communicate quality standards and guidelinesTesting and Validation:
Oversee the design and execution of testing processes, including automated and manual testing, to validate software functionality, performance, and security. Ensure the implementation of effective test automation strategies.Process Improvement:
Continuously improve development and testing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce defects. Identify and implement best practices for quality engineering.Collaboration:
Work closely with development, product management, and operations teams to integrate quality assurance into the entire software development life cycle. Foster a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility for quality.Quality Metrics and Reporting:
Establish and monitor key quality metrics to track the performance of development processes. Provide regular reports to senior leadership on the status of quality initiatives.Compliance:
Ensure Compliance and Certifications to ISO Standards ( ISO 9001, ISO 14001.... ). Ensure that development and testing processes comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices. Conduct audits and assessments to verify compliance.Leadership and Team Management:
Build and lead a high-performing quality engineering team. Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for team members.Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate Quality risks associated with product (Hardware and Software) development.Implement controls to minimize the impact of potential issues.
Continuous Learning:
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in quality engineering. Foster a culture of continuous learning within the team.Customer Satisfaction:
Focus on customer satisfaction by ensuring that products meet user expectations, are user-friendly, and are free from critical defects.Actively seek and incorporate customer feedback into quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a senior leadership role within quality engineering or Product (Hardware + Software)development. Experience in the Semiconductor; Electronics Contract Manufacturing Industries is desirable Strong background in quality assurance methodologies, testing processes, and test automation. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities.In-depth knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements. Proven track record of implementing process improvements and achieving high-quality standards.
