Full-Time Quality Assurance Manager:
We are seeking an exceptional candidate to lay the foundation of our QMS system for our growing business. You will work directly with key clients and stakeholders to identify gaps in current procedures and implement high-quality oriented solutions. Details of Job Function:
Oversee all US customer complaints alongside the support of the Shanghai based quality team. Ensure timely responses are provided to customer and thorough investigation reports and CAPAs are compiled to meet customer needs. Lead sample management and documentation processes, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and alignment with customer and regulatory requirements. Knowledge and management of the Quality Management Systems (QMS) including HACCP, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), Business Process Improvement support, Change Control, QMS metrics and records. Continual engagement with the Shanghai based quality team to understand and communicate customer expectations, audit schedules and outcomes, new factory evaluations, Quality Newsletters, and other ongoing best practices. Facilitate and support any customer warehouse audit inquiries and quality document questionnaire requirements. Provide leadership and guidance to ensure leading edge business practices are defined and implemented. Develop SOPs to support QMS. Roll out QMS and documentation to support Shanghai Freemen Europe ISO/BRC/GMP+ certifications. Engage and support sales team on strategic qualification projects for spec and method alignment. Support and train sales and purchasing team on local regulations and upcoming changes. Support ongoing
FSMA FSVP
Compliance and warehouse GMP certification. Attend local quality seminars and trainings to maintain expertise needed to champion the role
Requirements, Education & Experience:
College Bachelor's Degree in technical field 5 years' or more of technical experience Understanding of
ISO 9001
Working knowledge of FDA cGMP (21 CFR 111 and/or 117) Understanding of
USDA NOP
Organic Handler Requirements Understanding of HACCP principles Prior experience in the dietary supplements or functional food ingredients industry strongly preferred. Knowledge and experience with CRM/ERP systems Well versed in the Microsoft Office Suite of Programs Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Additional Knowledge & Skills Strong judgment and decision-making skills Excellent communication skills Emotional intelligence The ability to adapt and interact successfully across cultures.
