  • Full-time The PCB Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing the quality management system (QMS) and ensuring that all printed circuit board (PCB) fabrication and assembly processes meet internal standards, customer requirements, and industry certifications.
This role leads the Quality team, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and serves as the primary liaison for quality-related issues with customers, suppliers, and internal departments. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO, AS9100, ITAR, IPC, and other applicable standards. Manage and lead the Quality team, including inspectors, engineers, and technicians, ensuring proper training and consistent execution of quality procedures. Oversee quality assurance for PCB fabrication Review and approve quality documentation including control plans, inspection instructions, non-conformance reports, and corrective/preventive actions. Lead customer audits, internal audits, and regulatory inspections; prepare reports and manage follow-up actions. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns, complaints, and 8D/Corrective Action Reports. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive measures to drive continuous improvement in product quality and process reliability. Monitor key quality metrics (yields, defect rates, returns, rework levels) and report trends to senior leadership. Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to ensure quality standards are integrated across all functions. Ensure compliance with Mil-Spec, aerospace, automotive, medical, and other industry-specific requirements as needed. Maintain calibration, testing, and inspection equipment to ensure accurate and reliable measurements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in PCB fabrication/assembly quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes including drilling, lamination, plating, imaging, solder mask, assembly, and testing. Familiarity with standards such as
IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, IPC-6012, ISO
9001, AS9100, ITAR, and MIL-PRF. Experience with root cause analysis, statistical process control (SPC), FMEA, and other quality tools. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work cross-functionally and manage customer relationships effectively.
