Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Control Lead to champion our quality assurance initiatives across manufacturing operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of quality control and inspection, ensuring products meet rigorous standards and comply with industry regulations. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement, uphold safety protocols, and foster a culture of excellence. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate daily quality control activities, including inspections and audits, to verify product conformance with specifications. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems to perform detailed measurements and assessments. Oversee the calibration and maintenance of measurement tools and equipment like coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to ensure accuracy. Implement and monitor compliance with industry standards including
ISO 13485
(medical devices), ISO 9001 (quality management systems), HACCP (hazard analysis), CGMP (current good manufacturing practices), and FDA regulations. Conduct comprehensive quality audits across manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality systems. Analyze data collected from inspections, audits, and testing to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process enhancements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop corrective actions, improve quality procedures, and uphold safety standards in line with ISO 13485 and other regulatory requirements. Experience Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within manufacturing environments, preferably in regulated industries such as medical devices or pharmaceuticals. Strong knowledge of quality management systems includingISO 9001, ISO
13485, HACCP, CGMP, and FDA regulations. Hands-on experience operating precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Demonstrated ability to lead quality audits, analyze complex data sets, and implement effective corrective actions. Familiarity with calibration procedures for precision instruments and data collection techniques for quality analysis. Excellent analysis skills combined with attention to detail to ensure product integrity and compliance at every stage of manufacturing.
