Ready to elevate outcomes, inspire teams, and transform care as the Director Patient Safety of Quality Control? 🚀

A Director Quality Assurance role at this healthcare organization offers the chance to lead a high-reliability journey backed by nationally recognized nursing excellence, strong quality scores, and positive media momentum, while leveraging advanced clinical technology such as robotics, AI-assisted decision support, virtual nursing, and real-time analytics; the environment favors innovation with hospital-at-home pilots, telehealth expansion, and value-based care models, all inside a mission-driven, patient-first culture known for transparent reporting, Just Culture, and measurable improvements in harm reduction, throughput, and experience—ideal for a Director Quality Assurance who thrives on turning evidence into sustained performance.

Within the Quality Assurance function—synonymous with Patient Safety and Quality Control—the Director Patient Safety will lead in a setting featuring 300-licensed beds and the ability to provide tertiary (high tech) medical-surgical services with an emphasis on elective and outpatient care; established in 1890, this hospital has grown to become a major health treatment and referral center, specializing in cancer care, cardiac care, emergency trauma care and physical rehabilitation; it is a proud Magnet Hospital with designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for superior quality in nursing care; and with more than 300 days of annual sunshine, mild winters and easy-to-access recreational areas like Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods and some of Colorado's top destination resorts, the Director Patient Safety will enjoy an incredible lifestyle while building the career you've always wanted.

Reporting to a senior executive such as the Chief Quality or Patient Safety Officer and collaborating closely with the CMO, CNO, and service line leaders, the Director Performance Improvement will guide QAPI strategy, accreditation and regulatory readiness, safety event management, RCA2 and FMEA, peer review, OPPE/FPPE, sepsis/stroke/AMI bundles, HAI reduction, antimicrobial stewardship alignment, and high-reliability practices; robust support includes data analysts, clinical educators, and project managers, and the role partners with friendly nurses and a diverse multidisciplinary team—pharmacy, PT/OT, case management, social work, and physicians—within shared governance structures that empower frontline voice and speed adoption of evidence-based care pathways.

Anchored in Central CO, the Director Patient Safety of Quality Control will appreciate year-round outdoor recreation, concerts, festivals, craft cuisine, and a thriving arts scene; families benefit from strong schools, universities, and abundant parks and green space, while professionals enjoy a growing job market, balanced cost of living, varied housing options, and safe, welcoming neighborhoods; commutes are manageable with expanding transit, walkable districts, and bike-friendly corridors, and residents access respected healthcare services, modern digital infrastructure, and clean air and open vistas; the region's inclusive community fabric, entrepreneurial energy, supportive tax and regulatory environment, and convenient air travel connectivity complement a lively nightlife, pet-friendly amenities, well-run city services, and an appealing blend of privacy, low density, and quick proximity to nature.

The Director Quality Assurance can expect competitive compensation with performance incentives, relocation support, and a full suite of health and retirement benefits, including comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, employer-supported retirement savings, generous paid time off, parental leave, tuition assistance, paid CEUs, certification bonuses, mental health resources, wellness programs, and clear advancement pathways; start the conversation today—connect with a Clinical Management Consultants recruiter to learn how this Director Quality Assurance opportunity can amplify your impact and career trajectory. 🤝
