job summary: Quality Assurance Manager job opening in Shelton, CT. Our client, a premier metal fabricator, seeks a hands-on leader with 5+ years of experience with quality control standards and customer specifications for sheet metal, heavy plate fabrication, machining, welding, finishing, and painting. Act as the primary customer liaison for all quality audits, returns, and compliance matters.
Maintain and update Quality Management Systems to ensure AS9100D and
Document nonconforming products and manage root cause and corrective action reports.
Perform hands-on incoming, in-process, and final product inspections using gauges and CMM equipment.
