Shangri-La is a fast-growing cannabis organization focused on operational excellence, compliance, consistency, and delivering high-quality products across cultivation, manufacturing, and retail operations. As our cultivation operations continue to expand, we are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Quality AssuranceCompliance Coordinator to help ensure our facility operates efficiently, consistently, and in full compliance with company and regulatory standards. This position plays a critical role in maintaining operational accountability, supporting employee training, verifying SOP adherence, and helping uphold cultivation facility standards across all departments.POSITION OVERVIEW
Cannabis experience needed! Reporting directly to cultivation leadership, the Quality AssuranceCompliance Coordinator will be responsible for auditing day-to-day operational processes, monitoring SOP compliance, assisting with training verification, and ensuring facility-wide operational consistency. This role is ideal for someone who is highly detail-oriented, process-driven, organized, and comfortable working closely with multiple departments to improve accountability and operational execution.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct routine audits throughout the cultivation and manufacturing facility to ensure SOPs are being followed consistently Verify employees are completing required training, onboarding tasks, and compliance education Monitor facility operations for compliance with company policies, METRC requirements, and state regulations Assist with maintaining and organizing SOP documentation and operational records Identify operational inconsistencies, process gaps, or compliance concerns and communicate findings to leadership Partner with leadership teams to implement corrective actions and operational improvements Support onboarding and operational training initiatives for cultivation and manufacturing staff Track completion of operational checklists, logs, and compliance documentation Assist in preparing for internal audits, inspections, and regulatory visits Monitor sanitation, workflow consistency, labeling accuracy, and facility standards Help ensure operational readiness across cultivation, post-harvest, packaging, and manufacturing departments Collaborate cross-functionally with cultivation, manufacturing, inventory, fulfillment, and leadership teams Assist with compliance reporting, audit preparation, and operational follow-up itemsQUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in quality assurance, compliance, operations coordination, inventory control, or manufacturing environments preferred Cannabis industry experience strongly preferred Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail Ability to hold teams accountable while maintaining professionalism and collaboration Excellent communication and documentation abilities Comfortable auditing processes, identifying inconsistencies, and escalating concerns appropriately Familiarity with SOPs, compliance standards, and operational workflows Experience working with spreadsheets, operational tracking tools, and reporting systems Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and follow-through skillsWHAT WE OFFER
