QUALITYSUPERVISOR
who will play a key role in ensuring products and processes meet company and regulatory standards. This position oversees a team of quality inspectors/technicians, implements quality control procedures, investigates product issues, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily activities of the quality control team, providing leadership, support, and training. Monitor and evaluate product quality at various stages of the manufacturing process. Review and analyze data, generate quality reports, and present findings to management. Investigate and resolve nonconformities, customer complaints, and product quality issues. Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures, and documentation. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO, GMP, FDA). Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes. Coordinate internal and external audits; ensure audit readiness. Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve processes and product quality. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and team accountability. Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications Experience and Specialized Skills:
Candidate will have a minimum of 5-years experience as a supervisor or chief inspector in a quality leadership role. Must be able to use standard measurement equipment and read blueprints. The candidate will have layout experience and be able to access an inspectors output based on the complexity of work. It is highly desirable that the chosen candidate has CMM programming experience, and familiarity with ISO, AS and /or military specifications. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability work collaboratively and lead teams in a fast paced environment.
Educational Requirements:
Technical school / engineering graduate, apprenticeship training or equivalent experience required CMM Programming experience / highly desired ASQ certification and / or NDT Level III a definite plus
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
