Job Description

Cancer Specialists of North Florida is recruiting for an experienced Imaging Supervisor for our busy Central Business Office. This is not a remote position. The Imaging Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Imaging Department, including imaging modalities, patient scheduling, and imaging reports and medical records. Working in partnership with the Imaging Administrator, this role promotes operational excellence by ensuring high-quality patient care, efficient workflows, exceptional customer service, regulatory compliance, and effective staff supervision. The Imaging Supervisor provides leadership across multiple CSNF clinic locations offering imaging services and must be able to travel between sites as needed. This position requires flexibility to accommodate the operational needs of the department. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: Responsible for directing and overseeing the daily operations of the Imaging Department across multiple imaging locations. Ensures compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, safety, and organizational standards, including ACR, state, federal, and company requirements. Supervises, mentors, and provides direct leadership to Team Leads/Lead Technologists while promoting accountability, professional development, and operational excellence. Assists with recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, orientation, and ongoing competency development of imaging personnel. Evaluates staff performance through coaching, performance evaluations, employee audits, and corrective action while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Serves as the operational point of contact for immediate clinical and staffing issues in the absence of the Imaging Manager. Manage departmental quality assurance programs, including CT Quality Assurance, radiation safety compliance, and regulatory readiness. Assists with accreditation activities, regulatory inspections, and continuous quality improvement initiatives to maintain the highest standards of patient care. Supports the administration and maintenance of imaging information systems, including PACS user management, workflow monitoring, downtime procedures, and connectivity issues. Coordinates equipment maintenance, vendor services, and operational scheduling to minimize service interruptions. Manage mobile imaging operations by coordinating transportation schedules and serving as the primary departmental liaison for mobile imaging services. Monitors departmental safety programs, emergency preparedness documentation, OSHA compliance activities, and related operational records. Assures current licensure/certification for all staff May perform duties of technologists when needed to minimize workload of staffing shortage All other duties as assigned. Full-time position

Education and Experience:
Leadership/Supervisory experience required Certification through an accredited Radiology Program. Three (3) to Five (5) years of multi-modality experience required
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Registered with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board and/or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist. Current CNMT and/or ARRT.
