$95,000-$112,000/year About the Role We're seeking a Quality Manager to lead daily quality operations and ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry standards. In this role, you'll manage a team of quality professionals, oversee inspection and testing processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. You'll work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to reduce risks and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS). What You'll Do Lead and develop Quality Engineers, Technicians, and Inspectors to ensure accurate product and process inspections. Oversee daily quality operations, including inspection records, testing activities, and calibration of tools and equipment. Ensure compliance with
AS9100 , ISO 9001
, and other applicable standards. Manage Material Review Board (MRB) activities and resolve nonconforming material issues through corrective and preventive actions. Support internal and external audits and maintain QMS documentation. Drive root cause analysis for defects, supplier issues, and customer concerns; implement sustainable corrective actions. Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes and reduce quality risks. Track and report quality performance metrics, escalating critical findings as needed. Provide training and coaching to maintain technical competence and adherence to quality requirements. Support supplier quality initiatives, including corrective actions and improvement programs. Ensure accurate and complete quality documentation for all customer shipments. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Internal defect and scrap rate Corrective action cycle time Audit findings resolved on schedule Supplier quality performance metrics Customer return rate Accuracy of inspection records QMS documentation completeness
What We're Looking For Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, or related field; ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA) preferred.
Experience:
7+ years in manufacturing quality, including 3+ years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of
AS9100 , ISO 9001
, and aerospace or regulated industry standards. Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (SPC, FMEA, 8D, root cause analysis, DMAIC). Experience with audits, QMS documentation, and supplier quality programs. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QA software tools. Working Conditions Office and manufacturing floor environment; exposure to dust, temperature changes, and moderate noise. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Visual acuity 20/20 (corrected or uncorrected) and normal hearing required. #EEM
