As a Quality Assurance Supervisor at the Lotus House, you will help ensure that the standards of care, safety, cleanliness, and quality of services established by the Foundation are maintained throughout all program facilities. You will assist with residential environmental standards, inspections, corrective actions, and collaboration with sheltered guests and staff to promote a safe, healthy, and dignified living environment for all guests. Responsibilities and Duties (i) Conducting routine and consistent inspections of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, to ensure compliance with cleanliness, safety, sanitation, and organizational standards established by the Foundation; (ii) Monitoring guest compliance with housekeeping expectations, including room cleanliness, bathroom sanitation, clutter reduction, and adherence to health and safety requirements; (iii) Building positive, professional, and trauma-informed relationships with guests; providing supportive interventions, conflict resolution, de-escalation, coaching, and guidance to promote personal accountability, emotional well-being, and successful participation in program expectations while maintaining a safe, respectful, and empowering environment; (iv) Implementing corrective interventions and providing coaching, education, and support to guests regarding environmental standards, personal responsibility, and maintaining a safe and healthy living environment in collaboration with Quality Assurance, Operations and Clinical teams; (v) In collaboration with Intake Director, Clinical Teams and Operations Team, assist in ensuring that rooms are intake ready and that guests are toured and items are downsized and passed through the green room; (vi)Documenting inspection findings, compliance concerns, corrective actions, resident interactions, and follow-up activities; (vii) Assisting in documenting, reporting, and ensuring compliance with Foundation policies and procedures, Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS) requirements, grants, funding agreements, insurance requirements, regulatory standards, and applicable federal, state, and local laws, including fire and life safety requirements; (viii) Maintaining collaborative relationships with community partners, vendors, contractors, and service providers to support facility operations, safety initiatives, and resident well-being. Finally, if requested, you will assist the Foundation in its fundraising activities, including attending events, providing information for development activities and various application and proposals for grants to fund the activities of the Lotus House, provided however, it is understood that your services shall be limited to a support role rather than primary in the area of fundraising.
Skills:
REQUIREMENTS
  • Associate Degree preferred but no required
  • Valid Drivers License and ability to be insured at no additional cost
  • Experience working with diverse populations
  • Experience providing services to high need individuals 5 day schedule (8 hours a day for 5 days) Full benefits provided after 90 day probationary period including paid vacation, holiday's and sick time, paid maternity/paternity leave, short term disability, paid health, vision and dental insurance.
