Job Overview:
Insight Global is seeking a Quality Control Manager to work at a Plant located in Medley, Florida. This position is responsible for optimization of the quality of the Plant's products and performance. This role will define and implement the short, medium and long-term strategies to meet our customers' product quality requirements at optimum cost and in line with the company's strategy and applicable standards. Responsibilities Include the
Following:
Lead the plant Quality department and set quality goals aligned with plant objectives Ensure compliance with ISO, ASTM, and regulatory standards Oversee quality systems, audits, certifications, and corrective actions Manage laboratory operations, testing procedures, and new equipment commissioning Drive process improvement using SPC and data?driven problem solving Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Sales on product quality and development Supervise Quality leadership and laboratory teams
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent foreign degree) 7+ years of quality control experience in cement manufacturing Prior supervisory or managerial experience Strong analytical, math, and problem?solving skills Experience with SPC, process improvement, and plant quality systems Advanced knowledge of
ISO 9000, ISO 14000, API
Q1, and
ISO 17025
(audit & accreditation) Experience with ASTM C150 and cement physical/chemical testing Experience with special cements (White Cement, Well Cements - ISO 10426) Proficiency in MS Office
