Supervisor For more than 76 years, Spice World has been passionate about bringing everyone a world full of flavor, year-round. As a Quality Assurance Supervisor responsible for leading the QA team to ensure products meet the company standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements. Oversees daily quality operations on the floor, including inspection, testing, and documentation review to verify compliance with GMP's and established procedures. Conducts internal audits and investigations and drives corrective and preventive actions to reduce defects and improve processes. Promotes a culture of food safety, continuous improvement and documentation practices. Maintaining Calibration Schedule of equipment that is used to verify compliance to specifications or used in foreign material control in production process and ensuring necessary calibration / verification / validation certificates are current. Perform ongoing training for all QA personnel per the training requirements and other departmental training, SOP's and keep records of completed training. Maintain quality, food safety, HACCP Records in Red Zone. Assist in documenting work instructions for quality and production personnel. Monitor daily Pre-op Inspections and corrective action documentation. Perform and record Internal Audits and Internal Audit schedule and participate in corrective action activities. Perform Environmental testing per established schedule / methods, complete sample request records, suggest and perform Corrective Actions as necessary per QAPs and report results to management. Assist in the verification of Preventive Controls and Quality Assurance monitoring activities, as requested Perform Safety Audits as requested and participate in corrective action activities Maintain and update SDS Information as necessary Daily GMP's monitoring May act as liaison with outside vendors as requested Other duties as assigned by management.Requirements:
Availability to work five days an eight to ten hours shifts from Monday to Friday and overtime hours as needed. Availability to work on Saturdays and Sundays as per the department schedule. Must be available to work second shift.Education and Experience:
High School Diploma , GED or (Technical / AEE Diploma) a plus. At least two (2) years in a manufacturing environment, preferably food preparation. Utilize knowledge and requirements of Good Manufacturing Practices. Associate degree in science, preferably. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications - Word, Excel, Outlook Fully bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, with ability to read, write in both English and Spanish Willingness to work overtime and /or Saturdays. Must be able to complete PCQI Certification within 1 year of hire.Abilities and Skills:
Strong commitment to company goals and values. Friendly and positive attitude. Good communicator and listener. General knowledge of all aspects of maintenance, repair and service.Benefits:
