QUALITY SUPERVISOR
The Quality Supervisor is responsible for subordinate development, performance, services, and activities related to quality control practices for all products and services provided by
PARADIGM
in accordance with customer and company requirements.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
The Quality Supervisor of
PARADIGM
shall report directly to the Quality Manager.
CLASSIFICATION/SALARY RANGE
This position is classified as non-exempt.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for quality and compliance measures for all manufacturing which includes Shipping & Receiving, Sewing, and relative supportive services for
PARADIGM.
Performs daily duties to utilize precise measuring and test equipment with inspection procedures and techniques to determine if raw materials, WIP and finished goods meet customer requirements. Responsible for interpreting contract specifications for all manufacturing operations in order to develop, implement, and sustain all quality and procedural elements of manufacturing necessary for compliance and customer contract regulation and standards. Responsible for activities related to the performance of the quality control plan and Quality Assurance documentation, in creating sample test plans and implementation (ISO, etc.) and in coordination with the Quality Manager. Directs subordinate inspectors in their day-to-day job assignments, trains and develops employees, provides counseling, warnings, and leadership. Ensures quality audits are conducted in a timely manner to ensure compliance with
ISO-9001
requirements. Ensures all CFM and vendor provided materials are inspected, tagged and logbook entries are made to meet customer requirements/specifications prior to release to production. Ensures there is a visible Quality Assurance Inspector presence throughout
PARADIGM
Operations and communicates effectively to leadership to ensure that production areas are being kept clean and safe. Works directly with the Quality Manager to understand and implement established procedures for maintaining high standards of quality, reliability, and safety that are in-line with
PARADIGM
goals and objectives. Responsible for the implementation of companywide quality improvement efforts and standards in coordination with the Quality Manager. Performs daily workload distributions, inspector briefs, duties, and assignments to enforce quality and compliance requirements in accordance with
PARADIGM
needs, based on current regulations and state-of-the-art product development with specific regard to manufacturing. Works proactively to evaluate and develop improved techniques for the control of quality, reliability, and safety. Responsible for working with subordinates to ensure liaison with external parties and government quality assurance representatives is established on matters relating to the quality system. Prepare and submit reports to management as assigned by the Quality Manager. Assist the Quality Assurance Manager by providing insight information on personnel evaluations. Performs other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager and other members of management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree in business or related field or six (6) years of verifiable related employment experience or a combination of education and verifiable related employment experience required. Three (3) years verifiable related employment experience in development of quality systems at the
ISO 9000
level required. Five (5) years verifiable related employment experience utilizing precise measuring tools and equipment with the ability to demonstrate proficient and high-level performance capability. Three (3) year's verifiable related employment experience in an
ISO-9001
quality system, auditing, or audit environment required. Three (3) years verifiable experience in leading, monitoring and directing personnel in the assignment of work. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively; must be able to communicate with employees, the public, vendors and customers, and all levels of management, maintaining professionalism and respect. Must have working knowledge of computers with ability to work in a Windows environment with various software programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook and MRP systems. Must be able to complete and maintain appropriate reports. Must be well organized with excellent attention to detail and ability to coordinate various projects. Must be able to read and interpret GD&T. Strong skills using Quality core tools. Problem solving Root cause Analysis. Knowledge of quality methodologies
PDCA, DMAIC.
Must possess a valid state driver's license. Ability to comply with all other requirements as specified within the
PARADIGM
Personnel Policies and Procedures.
