2015 Quality Management System, you are the Management Representative, and you have real authority, including the authority to stop production when a part fails inspection. You will lead the entire Quality Department in a hands-on metal fabrication and manufacturing environment (welding, machining, assembly), directly oversee the certified welding inspectors, and own quality from first-article through final product. It is broad scope, real ownership, and a direct line of sight to how your work protects the customer. You are joining a company that has grown fast (now 70-plus employees, 10 in-house engineers) and is investing heavily in automation: one of the largest sheet laser tables in the region, a laser tube cutter, and robotic welding arms. The work is custom and technically demanding, serving regulated programs across aerospace, defense, maritime, and heavy industrial. ???????????????? ???????????? ???????????????? ????????????

maintain it, continuously improve it, and serve as the Management Representative to auditors, certification bodies, and customers

• Non-conformance (NCR) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA): logs, root cause analysis, disposition and rework of non-conforming material, and verified closure
• Internal, supplier, and customer audits, plus the inspection and test procedures across fabrication, welding, machining, and final verification
• Direct leadership of the

Quality Department:

4 to 6 direct reports including shift supervisors, plus a team of QC inspectors

• The certified welding inspectors and weld/fabrication quality to AWS and ASME standards
• Calibration of inspection and test equipment, supplier quality, and the quality KPIs that matter (first-pass yield, defect trends, returns)
• Site safety leadership, supported by a safety committee ???????????? ???????????????????????????? ????????????????
• You have run a real

2015 QMS yourself, not just been exposed to one

• You come from a production or manufacturing floor: metal fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, or contract manufacturing
• You have led a quality team and owned audits, CAPA, and NCR end to end
• You are comfortable on the floor overseeing weld and fab quality and the inspectors
• You are energized by a fast-growing, hands-on shop with advanced automation, broad ownership, and a real growth story
• This is not the role if you want a mature, fully-dialed-in corporate quality department with a narrow lane and someone else owning the QMS ???????????????? ???????? ????????????????
• Bachelor's in Quality, Operations Management, or Engineering
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt a plus) and 5S
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) and/or NDT (non-destructive testing) experience
• ERP (enterprise resource planning) systems
• Aerospace, aviation, or other regulated manufacturing background
• Comfortable reading engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions
• Open to occasional travel (roughly up to 20 percent, mostly domestic) ?
