Richman Property Services, Inc. is actively seeking a full time Assistant Quality Control Manager to join our dynamic workforce supporting RPS assets in central Florida.

Summary:
Responsible for supervising and accepting new construction and existing (refurbished) and capital expenditure projects. Provides technical support for the Regional Manager(s) and the community-level staff and works directly with Quality Control Managers and the National Maintenance Director on special projects/initiatives. Plans, evaluates, develops, implements, and maintains services and products in compliance with established guidelines, codes, and regulations.

Responsibilities:
New Construction and Refurbished Properties Conducted or assisted with acceptance inspections on new or refurbished properties. Schedule inspections with contractors/Project Managers. Inspect new construction and refurbish types of projects with contractors to ensure quality control. Document punch items and provide detailed reports to ensure completion. Communicates and follows up on punch items for timely repair. Keeps a record of documentation for all assigned properties. Provides final closeout of project to Management and Development. Capital Projects Communicate with Managers, Regional Managers, vendors, and contractors to exchange information. Assists in managing and monitoring contractor's work to assure adherence, quality workmanship, adherence to scopes and specs, and timely completion. Provide reporting to Property Management and Development. Production and Standards Assist maintenance teams when requested. Prepare written materials such as reports, memos, and emails. Travel is required, with overnight stays occasionally necessary. Perform special assignments and additional projects as periodically required by Quality Control Managers and the National Maintenance Director. • Ensure all work is carried out with company policy and regulatory compliance. Assists in property management and development with special projects
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) or Trade School Associates degree preferred
Experience:
Intermediate Maintenance or related Construction experience
Skills & Certifications :
Universal Environmental Protection Agency (E.P.A.) Section 608 Clean Air Act; Current CPO certification preferred; mold remediation preferred. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, excellent communication, organizational, and analytical/problem-solving skills. Ability to operate various types of office equipment, i.e., Computers, printers, copy machines, telephone systems, and facsimile machines. Become familiar with Fair Housing, EEO, and tenant landlord laws.
