Ensure adherence to company and government regulations. Inspect, audit, and validate all aspects of quality control throughout production, packaging, and distribution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and promote a Safety Culture emphasizing Food Safety and workplace safety Ensure compliance with Food Safety Practices and maintain SQF certification through adherence to GMP, Quality Procedures, SQF requirements, and facility cleanliness Provide support for the plant's SQF certification program Enforce QA policies and procedures, offer feedback, and follow up on corrective actions Coach and develop QA Technicians to oversee and validate quality processes Focus on enhancing the Quality at the Source program and empower team members to conduct their own quality checks Facilitate communication between departments to address production issues Prepare reports and communicate regularly with management Assist the Quality Assurance Department Manager as needed Ensure compliance with corporate standards for food safety, quality, and facility cleanliness Lead by example in promoting a culture of Safety among all staff
