Develop and coach QA Technicians while managing Plant's Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance programs. Ensure compliance with company and government procedures through inspection, audit, and validation of all quality performance phases.What You Will Be Doing:
Quality & Compliance- Maintain SQF certification through compliance with GMPs and Quality Procedures; inspect, audit, and validate all phases of quality performance including raw materials, production, packaging, and distribution Team Leadership & Development
- Coach and develop QA Technicians to monitor and validate plant quality processes; provide feedback and follow up to ensure proper corrective action is achieved Quality at the Source Program
- Drive continual growth of Quality at the Source program; ensure Processing and Packaging Team Members perform their own quality checks; identify and troubleshoot production process problems Food Safety & Safety Culture
- Ensure compliance with corporate standards for food safety, food safety culture, quality, and facility cleanliness; maintain and grow Safety Culture ensuring safe work environment
