Responsible for maintaining and improving Quality Management Systems in accordance with ISO 9001 and
ISO 14001
standards, including ongoing compliance and continuous improvement initiatives. Oversees product, part, material, and process quality assurance programs to prevent defects in new and existing products. Supervises and develops a skilled inspection team. Serves as the Quality Management Systems Representative and ensures compliance with applicable EPA, OSHA, and environmental requirements. What are we looking for? Assigned as ISO Management Representative Supervise a skilled and knowledgeable team that uses best practices and a risk-based approach to inspection techniques and quality assurance processes to minimize scrap and rework, improve quality, increase profitability, and ensure on-time customer acceptance of products Analyze all procedures, inspection techniques, and equipment and implement improvements to improve inspection effectiveness Confer with representatives of material and component suppliers to obtain information related to supply quality, capacity of vendor to meet orders, and vendor quality standards Maintain in-process, receiving, and outgoing inspection systems, equipment, gauges, records, and print files following company Quality Assurance policies
CIT:
establish standards and procedures for continuous improvement Requirements What qualifies someone for this position? 2 - 5 years of experience focused on leading quality assurance, ISO certification, and inspection processes Expertise in leading a progressive quality team in a dynamic manufacturing environment Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Experience with an ERP system (Infor/LN/Baan preferred) Experience with ISO9001 required Experience with
