Our teams deliver technically demanding scopes in active medical environments and are trusted to meet strict federal standards, owner expectations, and project controls. We invest in quality leadership because it protects patients, schedules, budgets, and reputations. Job Description Develop, implement, and manage project Quality Control plans aligned with federal/owner requirements and healthcare standards. Lead quality planning and oversight for complex scopes: MEP systems, envelope, interiors, infection control barriers, and phased renovations. Manage the inspection and testing program: coordinate third-party testing, track results, ensure timely corrective actions. Drive Three-Phase Control mindset (preparatory/initial/follow-up) and document compliance thoroughly.
Maintain audit-ready quality documentation:
daily QC reports, deficiency logs, NCRs, submittal compliance tracking, and closeout records. Partner with Superintendent/PM to prevent rework: trend recurring issues, implement corrective/preventive actions, and coach trade partners. Coordinate with commissioning/startup teams to support functional readiness, deficiency resolution, and turnover requirements. Ensure infection control expectations are met from a quality perspective (barrier integrity, finishes, cleanliness, protection of occupied areas). Serve as a key interface with owner reps/inspectors to ensure transparency, responsiveness, and compliance. The Successful Applicant 5+ years in a dedicated Quality Control role (QCM/QC Manager/QC System Manager) on federal and/or healthcare construction projects. Strong understanding of QC processes, inspections, testing coordination, and documentation expectations in regulated environments. VA/hospital experience strongly preferred-especially with occupied renovations, phasing, and high-stakes turnover requirements. Familiarity with federal quality frameworks and jobsite compliance culture (ability to operate confidently with owner oversight). Exceptional organization and communication skills-able to drive standards across multiple stakeholders. Proficiency with project documentation tools (Procore/Bluebeam/Excel/Word; ability to produce clear reports). OSHA 30 preferred; relevant QC certifications strongly preferred (or willingness to obtain).
