1st Shift, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Role Overview We are seeking a motivated Quality Control Manager who can lead all quality assurance and inspection activities in an injection molding manufacturing environment. This role ensures all injection molded products meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards while driving operational excellence and reducing waste. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with extensive experience in manufacturing quality systems, ISO 9001 implementation, and plastics manufacturing. Key Responsibilities
  • Company representative for all matters of safety, health, environmental and quality
  • Responsible for the design, implementation, revision and enforcement of corporate quality standards and methods
  • Prepare and lead management review meetings
  • Implement and manage company document system
  • Ensure quality methods and processes are in place and effective
  • Coordinate quality improvement initiatives and preventive measures
  • Design and implement use of statistical data to predict trends and improve overall product quality and system effectiveness
  • Design and implement use of root-cause analysis to properly identify needed process improvements and corrective actions
  • Update in-process inspection methods and standards through review of existing practices and review of generally accepted industry standards
  • Develop and implement disposition and rework standards
  • Lead the reduction of Cost of Quality and internal scrap and waste
  • Provide guidance and train the quality support staff. Coordinate their daily tasks
  • Review and evaluate potential new business for feasibility
  • Plan and supervise internal and external Quality System audits
  • Interface with supplier and customer quality representatives
  • Travel as required, approximately 10%-15% Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years proven experience in various quality and project management functions within the manufacturing field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a QA management role
  • Minimum 3 years experience in plastic or injection molding industry
  • Experience in managing a quality system across multiple plants.
  • Demonstrable experience implementing
ISO 9001.
  • Understanding of LEAN concepts and management.
  • Strong knowledge of safety, health and environmental requirements and legal standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, collaborative and analytical skills.
  • PC proficiency in Microsoft Office applications:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams Other Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher with specialized focus on quality, engineering and/or management.
