Senior Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance professional to support quality and compliance initiatives within a regulated healthcare environment. This role involves executing end-to-end QA activities across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring high-quality deliverables, regulatory compliance, and effective risk management. The candidate will work on cross-functional projects, define milestones, drive project completion, and provide solutions to complex quality challenges. The role requires strong ownership, the ability to influence project direction, and ensuring adherence to organizational quality systems and policies. Additionally, the candidate will contribute to process improvements, support compliance efforts, and mentor junior QA professionals.

Required Skills:

Strong experience in SDLC execution and defect lifecycle management End-to-end manual and/or automated testing (functional, regression, UAT) Experience authoring, reviewing, and approving QA deliverables Strong understanding of quality systems and regulatory compliance (healthcare preferred) Risk management and documentation experience Ability to quickly adapt to existing systems and processes Strong ownership mindset with accountability for deliverables Experience working with ALM tools

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or related field Experience in regulated environments (preferably healthcare) Proven track record of delivering projects and driving compliance outcomes Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Additional Skills:

Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) best practices Experience with cloud-based applications Familiarity with cybersecurity standards Experience working in Agile environments
