Quality Assurance Supervisor The Quality Assurance Supervisor oversees day-to-day quality assurance operations in a manufacturing environment that produces cleaning products and supports bottle filling operations. This role manages and develops a team of QA Inspectors, strengthens team capabilities, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement. The supervisor ensures plant safety, upholds quality standards, and maintains compliance with applicable regulations and quality systems while driving ongoing process improvements across operations. Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and develop a team of approximately six QA Inspectors through training, mentoring, coaching, and regular performance feedback. Oversee day-to-day QA operations within manufacturing production, ensuring all quality control activities are executed accurately and on time. Strengthen team knowledge of quality processes and procedures, and support the standardization of QA practices across the operation. Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance quality, efficiency, and consistency in production and packaging processes. Implement, maintain, and sustain quality systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001 and 21 CFR Part 820 requirements. Support or lead internal and external audits and inspections, ensuring readiness, documentation accuracy, and timely follow-up on findings. Oversee inspection activities, including review of in-process and final product quality, packaging integrity, and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Monitor and report on quality key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting metrics, and use data to drive corrective and preventive actions. Lead or support root cause analysis for quality issues, nonconformances, and customer complaints, and implement effective corrective actions. Ensure quality documentation, SOPs, and records are accurate, current, and compliant with applicable standards and regulations. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in production, operations, and other departments to resolve quality issues and support process improvements. Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while maintaining organization, accuracy, and high-quality standards in all QA activities. Promote and support plant safety practices and ensure that quality processes align with safety requirements. Utilize Microsoft Office applications to prepare reports, analyze data, and present quality metrics and improvement initiatives. Leverage ERP systems, where applicable, to support quality-related transactions, traceability, and reporting. Essential Skills 3-5 years of experience in a QA/QC role within manufacturing production operations. Strong knowledge of packaging processes and requirements in a manufacturing environment. Proven experience leading or supervising quality assurance personnel or teams. Hands-on expertise with
ISO 9001
quality management systems. Knowledge and practical experience with 21 CFR Part 820 and other relevant quality standards. Demonstrated ability to implement and sustain quality systems in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective actions. Experience with quality control practices, inspection activities, and SOP adherence. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects while maintaining organization, accuracy, and high-quality standards. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a positive, collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Demonstrated capability in using KPIs and reporting metrics to monitor and improve quality performance. Proven leadership skills, including training, mentoring, and performance management of team members. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in chemical manufacturing or production of cleaning products is preferred. Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar approaches. Experience with ERP systems such as Syspro, SAP, or similar platforms. Experience as a Quality Assurance Technician or in related quality assurance roles. Experience conducting or supporting audits and inspections in a regulated manufacturing environment. Strong capability with Excel for data analysis and quality reporting. Knowledge of ISO standards beyond
