A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead plant quality operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives at its Columbus, Indiana facility. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for production quality, supplier quality, customer quality, corrective actions, and quality systems management. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of quality systems, customer requirements, supplier quality, and continuous improvement methodologies. Responsibilities
  • Lead all plant quality activities and ensure compliance with company quality standards
  • Maintain and support
IATF 16949
certification requirements
  • Manage customer quality, supplier quality, and internal quality processes
  • Oversee calibration programs and quality documentation
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives
  • Respond to customer quality concerns and corrective action requests
  • Initiate and manage supplier corrective actions
  • Review production processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Ensure nonconforming materials and products are properly reviewed and dispositioned
  • Develop quality requirements for new products and manufacturing processes
  • Supervise quality personnel and provide leadership, coaching, and development Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience maintaining and supporting
