Job Description

Location:
Yorktown, IN Shift:
1st Shift | Monday-Friday (Flexible hours between 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
Pay:
$70,000-$80,000/year+ (based on experience) Direct Hire About the Opportunity Pro Resources is seeking an experienced Quality Manager for a well-established precision manufacturing facility in Yorktown, IN. This direct hire role is ideal for someone with a strong background in automotive or precision manufacturing, particularly within machining and assembly environments, who enjoys leading quality initiatives and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and maintain the Quality Management System in compliance with IATF 16949 and
ISO 9001
  • Oversee quality across machining, assembly, and inspection processes
  • Monitor process capability (Cp, Cpk) and implement improvements
  • Serve as the primary contact for customer quality concerns
  • Lead root cause analysis (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone) and corrective actions
  • Manage supplier quality, including audits and corrective actions
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Reduce scrap, rework, and cost of poor quality (COPQ)
  • Oversee inspection systems, calibration, and product validation
  • Track and report key quality metrics (PPM, scrap, audits, supplier performance)
  • Lead and develop quality team members and support cross-functional collaboration Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field preferred
  • 5-10+ years of quality experience in manufacturing
  • 3+ years in a leadership or management role
  • Strong experience in machining and/or assembly environments
  • Working knowledge of:
IATF 16949 / ISO 9001
  • Core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA)
  • Experience with CNC machining, metal components, and in-process inspection systems
  • Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills Why Apply
