Position Summary The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for reviewing, inspecting, and evaluating Hybrid-Fiber-Coax (HFC) and Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) construction projects to ensure compliance with customer specifications, Technical Quality Assurance (TQA) standards, and company requirements. This role supports aerial and underground construction activities and validates the quality and accuracy of completed telecommunications infrastructure work across OSP environments. Responsibilities Perform quality control inspections on HFC and FTTH construction projects to verify compliance with customer and company standards Review and validate new builds, span replacements, service drops, risers, aerial installations, bonding and grounding of messenger strand, ADSS fiber installations, splice cases, cabinets, splitters, XWDM equipment, underground bores, vaults, trenches, and MDU lockboxes Conduct site surveys of proposed and completed projects and prepare red-line documentation as required Inspect completed work against customer Technical Quality Assurance (TQA) requirements Verify restoration quality and ensure customer property standards are met Operate testing equipment to confirm optical and RF power levels meet required specifications Document field conditions, deficiencies, and completed work through written reports, photos, and video documentation Prepare work orders and corrective actions for plant elements not meeting standards Communicate quality concerns, trends, and field issues with Project Managers and Operations leadership Support emergency locates as required Maintain accurate QA/QC records and project documentation Work weekends, alternate shifts, or travel as required by business needs Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum five (5) years of telecommunications Outside Plant (OSP) construction, maintenance, or repair experience supporting fiber, CATV, broadband, or telecommunications infrastructure Minimum two (2) years supporting communications service drops and residential installations preferred Minimum one (1) year experience as Maintenance Technician or equivalent preferred Experience supporting FTTH, HFC, aerial, and underground telecommunications construction environments Working knowledge of aerial and underground construction practices and safety procedures Experience with drops, splice enclosures, cabinets, aerial strand systems, underground vaults, bores, and restoration activities Knowledge of NESC, NEC, telecom construction standards, and customer specifications preferred Ability to read and interpret maps, prints, as-builts, system layouts, and work orders Strong documentation skills with photo and video reporting experience Experience operating telecom testing equipment including RF meters, optical testing tools, signal level meters, or similar devices preferred Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and mobile documentation systems Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record required Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply Industry certifications including NCTI, SCTE, and BCT/E preferred Physical Requirements Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to traverse construction sites and uneven terrain Ability to work in confined spaces including attics, crawlspaces, manholes, and vaults Ability to climb ladders, poles, and work at heights safely Ability to lift and carry tools, ladders, and equipment up to 50 lbs Ability to distinguish wire colors and cable identification markings Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods throughout the shift Perks of Working at Benton Triage Comprehensive Benefits Package Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Career Advancement Opportunities Continuous Training and Development Employee Recognition Program Job Type:
