Quality Control & Safety Coordinator (Land Management) 113 Amedee Drive, Scott, LA 70583 Full-time Full-time Job Overview The Quality Control & Safety Coordinator oversees field operations to ensure land management services are performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role serves as a link between field crews and office management, ensuring clear communication, proper execution of work, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Schedule field crews and assign work Serve as the primary communication between field teams and office management, relaying updates, issues, and job progress Provide direction and answer employee questions regarding job scope, equipment use, and site expectations Conduct on site quality control inspections to ensure all work meets company standards and customer requirements Perform routine safety audits, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols Monitor use of equipment and materials to promote safe and efficient operations Identify and address quality or safety issues and implement corrective actions as needed Meet with customers on site to review job progress, address concerns Maintain accurate records of site visits, inspections, safety audits, and job updates for internal reporting Coordinate with management to improve workflow, efficiency, and service quality
Qualifications:
Experience in land management, vegetation control, landscaping, forestry, or a related field Knowledge of herbicide application practices and safety standards Strong understanding of field safety practices, including equipment operation and hazard recognition Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate between field crews and office staff Strong organizational and problem solving abilities Ability to manage multiple job sites and crews simultaneously Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites
Work Environment:
Combination of outdoor fieldwork and administrative duties Frequent travel to job sites Work may involve exposure to chemicals, heavy equipment, and physically demanding tasks
