Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in precision measurement and quality assurance, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Metrology Supervisor to join their team. As a vital part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting the metrology laboratory, the ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for continuous improvement, which will align successfully within the organization.

Shift:
Mon-Fri 8am-5pm What's the Job? Manage and oversee daily operations within an A2LA-accredited metrology laboratory, ensuring compliance with
ISO/IEC 17025
standards. Coordinate calibration activities, verify measurement equipment accuracy, and ensure traceability to international standards. Review and approve tool repairs, and supervise first-piece inspection and release processes on measurement systems. Lead internal and external quality audits, ensuring full readiness and compliance during accreditation and regulatory assessments. Provide leadership, training, and technical guidance to laboratory personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a quality assurance or laboratory supervisory role within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of
ISO/IEC 17025, ISO
9001, and quality management systems. Proficiency with precision measuring instruments, calibration equipment, and statistical data analysis tools. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives. What's in it for me?
