Job Description

Quality Control Supervisor Lynn, MA Are you passionate about ensuring top-notch quality and safety in food production? Our client is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Supervisor to join their team in Lynn, MA. This role is pivotal in maintaining high standards of quality assurance and food safety, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and leading a team towards excellence. Responsibilities of the Quality Control Supervisor Develop and maintain documentation such as SOPs, manuals, policies, and procedures in line with BRC requirements. Assist QA Technicians with line checks and pre-operational inspections as needed. Coordinate monthly facility and GMP inspections. Address customer complaints in collaboration with the Production Manager. Update internal product specifications as directed by the Production Manager. Review records daily to ensure compliance with preventive controls, sanitation, production, and verification checks. Champion waste reduction efforts and ensure accountability. Communicate effectively and maintain strong working relationships across the organization. Requirements of the Quality Control Supervisor Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in a STEM field preferred. 1-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Food Safety, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database software. Proven attention to detail. Ability to work flexible hours and schedules. 1-2 years of supervisory or managerial experience preferred. 6 months of previous food-handling experience is desirable. Positive attitude in support of the company's mission. #MPG1
