Our client is seeking an experienced quality leader to oversee inspection operations, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support the production of high-precision machined components used in critical applications. This position offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, team-oriented manufacturing environment focused on quality, innovation, and long-term employee success. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of quality inspectors while serving as the primary quality resource for manufacturing operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process control, product quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production and departmental leaders to resolve quality concerns and maintain compliance with customer requirements.
  • Manage inspection procedures, quality documentation, and related process improvements.
  • Oversee calibration programs, measurement systems, and inspection equipment requirements.
  • Support the development and execution of inspection plans, including CMM programming and inspection strategy.
  • Serve as a customer-facing quality representative for issue resolution and quality-related communications. Qualifications and Must-Haves
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 12+ years of manufacturing experience within a quality-focused environment.
  • Previous experience working in ISO 9001 and/or
ISO 13485
certified organizations preferred.
  • 2+ years of machine shop or precision machining experience required.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems.
  • Experience with CMM programming and operation strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
  • Hands-on experience with precision inspection equipment including micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, vision systems, measuring microscopes, indicators, and CMMs.
  • Familiarity with Minitab or similar statistical analysis software is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and customer-facing skills. Benefits
