We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Liaison & Quality Assurance Manager to join our leadership team. This position will work closely with the Owner and Vice President of Operations to support clinical providers, strengthen facility relationships, improve quality outcomes, and ensure operational excellence throughout the organization. Position Overview The Nurse Liaison & Quality Assurance Manager serves as a key clinical and operational leader, fostering positive relationships with facility partners, supporting Nurse Practitioners, overseeing quality assurance initiatives, and helping to drive continuous improvement across the organization. The ideal candidate is a collaborative healthcare professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and creating innovative solutions to improve patient care and provider performance.
Responsibilities:
Facility & Provider Relations Serve as the primary liaison between Optimized Medical Group and partner facilities. Build and maintain strong relationships with nursing home and assisted living facility leadership. Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners, facility staff, and administration to address operational and clinical concerns. Conduct routine visits to facilities to assess needs, identify opportunities, and support clinical teams. Attend meetings with facility leadership and represent the organization professionally. Quality Assurance & Compliance Conduct chart audits and documentation reviews to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Monitor provider performance and documentation quality. Identify trends and opportunities for process improvement. Assist with the implementation of quality improvement initiatives and corrective action plans. Support regulatory readiness and compliance efforts. Prepare reports and recommendations for leadership. Leadership & Operational Support Partner with the Owner and Vice President of Operations on strategic initiatives. Assist with onboarding and mentoring new providers. Serve as a resource for providers and facility staff. Help develop and implement best practices and workflow improvements. Promote a positive culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence. QualificationsRequired Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) Active and unrestricted RN license Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Ability to travel regularly to healthcare facilities throughout Maryland Proficiency with electronic health records and Microsoft Office Preferred Experience working in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), Long-Term Care (LTC), Assisted Living Facilities (ALF), or Post-Acute Care settings Quality Assurance or Performance Improvement experience Leadership or management experience Experience working with Nurse Practitioners and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Skills & Competencies Strong relationship-building abilities Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Creative and innovative mindset Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong conflict resolution and communication skills Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through Professional and customer-focused demeanor Benefits Competitive salary Professional growth opportunities Leadership role within a growing organization Collaborative and supportive work environment Opportunity to directly impact patient care and organizational success How to Apply Interested candidates should submit their resume and cover letter outlining their experience in nursing leadership, facility relations, quality assurance, and long-term care settings.
