Plant Manager Description:
The Quality Manager is responsible to implement, maintain and improve incoming and outgoing quality levels of OEM vehicles flowing through the Plant. The position requires leading and managing respective team members ensuring high performance resulting in quality and delivery cost expectations. The position also requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance to our Client base.Essential job functions:
Exercises overall responsibility for control of quality of incoming and outgoing work product Frequent, regular interface with visiting Clients Responsible to monitor and maintain projects within budget Support quoting services encompassing all aspects of Client projects Process proposals, product placement and transportation coordination Responsible for leading and managing respective team members ensuring high performance and technical competency, resulting in quality and delivery cost expectations Document and improve quality procedures and processes Continually look for new business opportunities Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred; some college coursework in related field (marketing, business, etc.) required Prior automotive experience preferred, specifically in a Quality leadership role Safety oriented Requires the following skills: Excellent communication, both oral and written. Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone, email and written means Ability to identify, train and lead high performance teams to successful outcomes Excellent customer service skills Must be able to multi-task while ensuring follow up and follow through on required tasks High degree of organization and ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment Intermediate or higher skills with computer applications (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)Other Requirements:
