In this hands-on leadership role, you will be responsible for maintaining high quality standards, developing your team, and driving continuous improvement throughout our manufacturing operations. If you have a strong quality background and a passion for building effective teams, we want to hear from you — no college degree required.
What You'll Bring:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment Demonstrated supervisory or team lead experience preferred Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Solid understanding of PFMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP processes Familiarity with statistical analysis tools such as Excel or Minitab Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently, take initiative, and make sound decisions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — able to identify root causes and drive resolution Ability to interpret technical documents, engineering drawings, and process specifications
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and manage Quality Inspectors and Quality Specialists across all 3 shifts to ensure consistent performance and adherence to quality standards Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Production teams to implement and sustain the quality management system Drive root cause analysis and oversee the development and execution of corrective actions for production issues and quality escapes Plan, organize, and direct all receiving and outgoing quality inspection activities Facilitate and execute continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, and other Lean methodologies Develop and deliver quality awareness training programs for production staff Conduct internal audits, document findings, and ensure timely closure of corrective and preventive actions Create, review, and maintain quality documentation including work instructions, quality manuals, PFMEAs, and control plans Prepare and present quality performance reports and metrics to management Why Join Our Team?
