Summary Position Summary The Sr Manager of QA supports the retailers overall program objectives through the management of the QA team and implementation of key QA processes. Manages relationships with retailer cross-functional teams, customers and manufacturers. Expected to demonstrate thought leadership of industry best practice and use that to review and provide adjustments to current processes and procedures to maximize efficiencies that align with the retailer's objectives. Job Will Remain Open Until Filled Responsibilities The Company is one of North America's leading sales and marketing agencies specializing in outsourced sales, merchandising, category management and marketing services to manufacturers, suppliers and producers of food products and consumer packaged goods. The Company services a variety of trade channels including grocery, mass merchandise, specialty, convenience, drug, dollar, club, hardware, consumer electronics and home centers. We bridge the gap between manufacturers and retailers, providing consumers access to the best products available in the marketplace today. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Job Duty- Manager and direct a team of QA/Food Techs that service the QA function at the retailer account
- Prioritize and assign the project workload for the team to enable timely delivery of high-quality processes and strategies
- Take leadership role in collaborating and communicating with key stakeholders to ensure that projects are aligned with Private Brand objectives
- Collect and organize disparate pieces of information into a clear and concise business case; present internally to retailer's key stakeholders
- Maintains an understanding of Daymon and customer strategy and vision
- Maintain industry and global working knowledge of all QA and Food Science/Safety tools and methodologies
- Act as Thought Leader through the development of Best in Class processes and policies that align with customer philosophy and strategy on food safety, quality and consumer needs Supervisory Responsibilities Direct Reports
- Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources Indirect Reports
- May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports Travel and/or Driving Requirements

Education Level:
(Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (Preferred): Master's Degree Or equivalent experienceField of Study/Area of Experience:
Business Administration, Food Service, or related field 8-10 years of experience in quality assurance, or related experience Skills, Knowledge and Abilities- Decision Making Skills

- Well Organized, Detail Oriented, & able to Handle Fast Paced Work Environment
- Flexible & Adaptable, able to change & Alter According to changes in Projects or Business Environment
