Job Description
Mission QC Manager will be responsible for performing Aerospace precision inspection verifications on mechanical parts, components, assemblies, and materials using variable or attribute measuring instruments and techniques to ensure conformance with the company s standards. May include but is not limited to first article parts, in-process and final inspection on assemblies, and materials for workmanship and conformance to specifications/drawings. Responsibilities The primary duties and responsibilities of the Quality Control Manager consist of but are not limited to: Ensure that all non-conformance products are correctly identified and isolated until disposition (rework or scrap) can be determined Manage and supervise quality control processes throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with applicable standards and requirements Analyse quality data and deviations to identify trends, root causes and put in place corrective and systemic actions Ensure respect of calibrations and metrology scheduling and conformance to applicable procedures and requirements Ensure the follow up and the effectiveness check of the planned actions and guarantee their sustainability Ensure the lead and the skill development of the team and provide all needed resources to facilitate their task Work closely with production and engineering departments to develop and implement processes and procedures that improve efficiency and reduce non-conformities Active Participation on AS9100/Nadcap, customer and internal audits Implement ongoing training programs for staff to maintain a high level of skills and awareness of quality and compliance with standards Develops sampling plans, quality standards, and process control instructions for use by manufacturing to monitor and reduce variations Execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to company guidelines and all applicable requirements Required skills /
Qualifications:
Engineer degree preferred in mechanical speciality or equivalent Minimum 3 years in similar position, aerospace is an advantage Technical competence in drawings and technical documents reading and interpretation; GD&T is a plus Technical competence in problem solving, Lean Manufacturing techniques and core tools Able to read, write, and speak in standard English Internal Auditor competence Ability to manage across multiple levels of the organization and lead efforts when needed Able to communicate material and train employees in a clear and concise manner either through written or verbal instructions CAD/CAM experience knowledge of CMM programmingLocation :
