  • Occasionally Position Summary The Quality Assurance Manager will lead site-wide quality assurance and food safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory, customer, and corporate requirements.
This role is responsible for overseeing quality systems, CAPA programs, audits, food safety initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead Quality Assurance and Quality Control programs for the manufacturing site. Manage CAPA, root cause analysis, customer/vendor complaints, and nonconformance investigations. Ensure compliance with
FDA, GFSI
(SQF/BRC), OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements. Oversee food safety programs including HACCP/HARPC, sanitation, allergen control, environmental monitoring, and recall readiness. Lead internal, customer, third-party, and regulatory audits. Drive quality culture, continuous improvement, and operational excellence initiatives. Partner with Production, R D, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams on new product launches and process improvements. Develop, coach, and manage the site quality team. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field. 5+ years of Quality Assurance leadership experience in food, dietary supplement, pharmaceutical, or related regulated manufacturing environments. Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP, SQF/BRC, CAPA, SPC, and quality systems. HACCP or PCQI certification preferred. Proven leadership, project management, and change management experience.
