Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Product Release Coordinator to join our team in a temporary assignment and contribute to this mission.
Please note:
Estimated 6-month temporary assignment Position is responsible for activities related to batch record review and product release. Works closely with other departments to review batch records, and certificates of analysis as part of product release process.
Your responsibilities will include:
Perform GMP review of completed manufacturing records. Assist staff in all departments to resolve open issues with records, providing clarification and direction. Communicate the status of GMP record review to internal departments and clients. Release products in the electronic inventory system. Support departments in quality initiatives. Interact with clients in support of contract manufacturing. Assist in the tracking and monitoring of metrics for quality systems. Assist with documentation and data collection for annual product reviews. Provide back-up support for line auditing, inspection and document control activities. Assist in regulatory/customer/certification audits.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
Safety Protocol:
Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures. Correct or report any observed safety hazards. Support safety policies and programs. This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as deemed necessary from time to time.
Qualifications:
Education / Experience /
Certifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. One to three years' experience working in a quality assurance function at a food, nutritional or pharmaceutical company preferred. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
Skills Required:
Capable of interaction at all levels of the organization. Excellent oral and written communication skills to maintain and develop strong working relationships across functional areas. Knowledge of quality principles, GMP and other FDA requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain accurate, legible and complete documentation. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively through completion without loss of quality. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Ability to read and write in English.
