Quality Assurance Manager - F5 Adversary Program

Work headquarters a s the F- 5 program. Ensures contract performance conforms to established standards and Government agency guidelines, guaranteeing lasting customer satisfaction. This position requires the individual to manage/supervise and provide training to site level Quality Managers and quality representatives . Must have the ability to provide guidance and direction to achieve compliance with all applicable safety and quality standards and provide leadership and knowledge to staff members and teams, as necessary Ensures adherence to and compliance with established company quality policies, practices, standard operating procedures (SOP), government regulations , and g round operating procedures (GOP) . Interprets technical direction from aviation maintenance manuals and directives and administers policies, processes, and procedures that affect Company Functional Departments and Programs. Advises operating units on quality control standards, and opportunities for improvement. Capable of conducting Quality Management System Audits, and writing detailed quality reports relating to quality requirement compliance, findings, and defect reports. Must be able to enter data tracking information into excel spreadsheets, interpret collected data, implement and monitor data tracking and trending, and have an understanding of the information provided through analysis of trended data. Ensure prompt initiation and oversight of any suspected negative trends and conduct investigations and collect/trend the associated systemic data. Must possess exceptional guidance and collaboration skills, combined with the ability to positively influence internal and external teams to ensure quality standards are in place and complied withAnalyzes inspection processes, and mechanisms and conducts quality assurance reviews. Adapts quickly to a rapidly changing environment to meet customer needs. P rovides response to customer concerns and findings, and tracks corrective actions taken in response to internal and customer audit findings. Monitors quality deficiencies and coordinates corrective actions. Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements. Provides oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs, processes, and procedures that ensure compliance with policies and that the performance and quality of services conform to established standards and agency guidelines. Maintains awareness of regulatory changes and disseminates safety-related bulletins, technical changes and literature to work site personnel. This person will be responsible for investigating mishaps and injuries and overseeing technical library. Works directly with operating entities to provide process analysis oversight on a continuing basis to meet guidelines. Provides assistance as required to ensure the Quality Management System, programs, policies, and procedures are maintained and reviewed, and updated as required. May be r equired to assist with planning , scheduling and projecting maintenance operations to meet contractual requirements. Assist with planning sequence of scheduled maintenance for the program. Assist with identifying and tracking critical path for aircraft scheduled maintenance and high time replacements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and +6 years of experience in Quality Assurance (aviation required ) OR Education/Experience equivalence (Associates degree AND +10 years of recent aviation experience with 5 years in aviation management, and at least 4 years in management of aviation Quality Assurance OR H/S Diploma AND +14 years of recent aviation experience with 7 years in management of aviation

Quality Assurance Knowledge & Skills:

Must have experience working with Quality Management System requirements in Government contracting such as

ISO 9001

2015, AS9100, & AS9110. Experience with

NAVAIR 4790, AF 21-101 & DCMA 8210

series instruction Excellent communication and interpersonal and teamwork skills Excellent time management and organizational skills Excellent decision-making and methodical problem-solving skills Technical proficiency as an aircraft mechanic (preferred) Technical proficiency as an aircraft-quality inspector (preferred) Ability to challenge ideas and decisions and implement with commitment the selected decision, once made (disagree in private/agree in public) High level of comfort with briefing/training/talking with senior leaders, peers, and first-line employees Ability to coordinate directive guidance and accommodate an audience that does not report to you Ability to span differences between various customers Be proactive in planning and reactive in adjusting to demands
