Job Description
Garan Incorporated Starkville, Mississippi Full Package Quality Manager . We are seeking a person with high energy who can self-motivate and develop ownership of the position . Job Description We are seeking an ambitious leader to manage our Full Package Quality. This person will be obsessed with quality improvement and committed to creating the highest quality for our customers. They will also be responsible for driving quality relations and partnerships with our Suppliers and Quality Teams. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring quality in development and in finished garments, identifying nonconformity issues and addressing timely. Must learn customer needs and requirements; facilitate proactive solutions by testing and analyzing quality data. Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis. Will prepare and submit detailed reports containing quality data. This position requires the selected candidate to travel domestically and internationally.
Requirements:
- Must be a motivated fast learner with exceptional comprehension
- Conscientious, reliable and trustworthy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong computer skills; word, excel, power point.
- Observant, with an eye for detail
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure of deadlines
- Work well with others/Team Player
- Comfortable communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings.
- Adaptable and can quickly learn new concepts. Enjoys moving fast and delivering results quickly and continuously.
- BS/BA in Business Administration/Management or relevant field
- Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods, a plus
- Domestic and International Travel
