Job Description

All individuals employed at GNEM are required to: Adhere to laws, agreements, and the company's policies and procedures. Engage in ongoing learning to foster personal and organizational development. Serve as a positive role model by fostering collaboration, contributing to a positive work environment, and aligning actions with our core values.
Responsibilities:
Supervise daily quality control operations, including inspection, testing, and release of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products. Lead, train, and evaluate QC personnel to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures. Ensure proper execution of testing methods and accurate use of laboratory and inspection equipment. Monitor and analyze quality metrics such as defect rates, yield, and non-conformance trends. Investigate quality issues and lead root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality concerns and improve processes. Maintain and review quality documentation, including test data, inspection reports, and compliance records. Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with applicable quality systems (e.g., ISO standards). Ensure laboratory safety and adherence to all company and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Previous experience in quality control or laboratory environments within a manufacturing setting required. Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Strong understanding of quality systems, testing methods, and inspection processes. Experience with root cause analysis and CAPA methodologies. Familiarity with laboratory equipment and quality data systems (ERP/MES) preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work flexible or rotating shifts based on operational needs. Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English required for daily communication and coordination.
