What You'll Do:
As our QA/Repack Manager, you'll lead a critical function at Foster by overseeing the quality and repack operations within our warehouse. You'll guide a team responsible for inspecting product, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and repacking items with precision and care. You'll work closely with warehouse, procurement, and inventory teams to ensure our products meet the highest standards and are ready for our customers—accurately, safely, and beautifully.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, train, coach, and develop QA and Repack team members to meet performance goals and Foster standards. Monitor and inspect inbound, in-house, and outbound product for quality, safety, and accuracy.
Oversee repack operations:
assigning work orders, ensuring accurate weights and labeling, and verifying product quality. Champion a culture of food safety by promoting and enforcing SQF and GDP standards throughout the department. Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to identify needs and maintain appropriate stock levels. Audit completed repacks and orders to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting—including scale calibration, quality inspections, and production records. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation in repack and QA areas before, during, and after operations. Take proactive steps to resolve product quality concerns, including leading rework or product adjustment efforts. Table:
A sincere passion for positively impacting people and creating a fun, productive work environment. Experience leading and motivating teams in a fast-paced warehouse or food distribution environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality, accuracy, and food safety standards. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to assess product quality and make informed decisions using both observation and data. Proficiency with PC-based systems and warehouse management software (WMS/ERP experience a plus). Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a refrigerated warehouse environment. Forklift certification (preferred but not required). Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and adjust as needed to meet business needs.
