Job Description:
Quality Manager needed in Haverhill, MA. Full-time role $120K-$135K with benefits and pension plan. Bachelor's degree required. Candidates with six sigma belt and experience working in the Aerospace industry preferred. The primary responsibility of a Quality Manager is to be Responsible for managing the compliance functions of our aerospace manufacturing business to include AS9100 Management representative, NADCAP certifications, Customer and Supplier compliance. Utilize Six Sigma and Quality management tools to improve factory performance. Essential Responsibilities Responsibility for the internal Quality System, Internal Audits, NDT, Calibration, Supplier Quality, Continuous Improvement & HS&E. Deploy DMAIC process to reduce non-conformances. Lead Quality clinic process to drive Root Cause, Corrective and Preventive Action utilizing the 8D (AESQ 13000) process. Interface with Customer on Complaints and Improvement processes/projects. Strong skill with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Minitab. Manage gauge control and calibration. Position Requirements Bachelor's Degree. 5+ years' experience in a quality leadership role, preferably in the Aerospace Industry Six Sigma skill set to include a minimum of Green Belt (Black Belt preferred). Extensive understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance. Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills. Strong leadership skills, ability to lead without expressed authority. Excellent communication skills. Strong team building skills. Understanding of statistical process control, PFMEA, and other quality tools. Supplier rationalization with focus on total cost of ownership. Ability to interface with all departments. Motivated self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
