Job Description:
KYDA Partners are currently supporting a leading medical device manufacturer in the search for an experienced Quality Control Manager to join their high-spec, precision engineering team. Quality Control Manager - Precision Machined Components. This role will take ownership of quality control activities across precision-machined medical device parts, driving inspection standards, compliance, and continuous improvement across multiple machining cells and shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee inspection planning, First Article Inspections (FAIs), and in-process inspections Lead nonconformance investigations, MRBs, and corrective actions Ensure compliance with
ISO 9001 / ISO 13485
standards Manage ERP tracking and quality documentation Train and mentor inspectors and machinists across shifts
Requirements:
5+ years' quality experience within precision machining Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge Hands-on experience with FAIs and in-process inspection Proven background in nonconformance and corrective action processes Ability to lead and develop shop-floor quality teams
Preferred:
