Chief Executive Officer Position Summary:

This position is responsible for ensuring organization-wide compliance with all required New Jersey State and Federal regulatory standards.

Essential Job Functions:

Administer the corporate compliance program for the organization and oversees all New Jersey Department of Human Services, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) regulatory standards. Identifies all DDD related compliance requirements in each area of the organization and assigns responsibility for ensuring that such compliance is maintained. Prepares the Agency for organizational compliance audits, including DDD site visits, Medicaid and other related audits. Collaborates with the COO and CEO to recommend changes in policy and procedure in order to ensure that compliance is attained throughout the organization. Conducts all required internal audits, investigations and quality assurance training. Works with agency Leadership, Directors, Managers, and other personnel to ensure that compliance within each individual area of the organization is attained. Completes all required agency and DDD trainings. Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration or related field, Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quality Manager/Director. Minimum of five years of related experience in the non-profit sector. Expert knowledge of NJ State Department of Human Services, DDD regulations and standards. Advanced knowledge of best practices related to Quality Management. Knowledge of Medicaid regulations and standards. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficient with MS Office applications, Sharepoint, Therap and other technology platforms. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with leadership, co-workers, and community stakeholders.
